 I have been taking Therapeutic Yoga classes with Pat for 18 years, and I have seen her for private yoga therapy sessions as well. I am consistently impressed with her attention to her clients’ individual health issues, and her ability to adapt to them.  Although I have a short daily yoga practice, I find I really need to get to class at least once a week to remind me of correct body positioning and awareness to make my own adaptions as needed.  I attribute Pat’s class to the reduction in my neck and shoulder pain that has not bothered me in the last couple of years.  Pat is indeed kind, compassionate and therapeutic!

During sessions, we try variations of yoga poses and daily gestures so we can find methods that work just for me. Yoga with Pat is the highlight of my weekend. I enjoy the exercise that I feel is made specially for me because of all the accommodations that Pat suggests knowing each of the members’ health issues.

Over the many years I feel I have aged less than my friends physically because I don’t stress my body to exercise but maintain flexibility and balance and core strength. Yoga was all I could do during Chemo to exercise as I was really weakened. I continue to use Yoga in everyday life. Through continued practice my body knows how to do everyday tasks like weeding or picking up heavy objects without stress. Thank you Pat!

Pat, I think my testimonial starts with a big thank you! I've been attending your classes for almost 20 years and I shudder to think what bad shape I'd be in if it weren't for you and yoga. I've learned so much, with your guidance, about how to practice yoga and bring it into every day life. As I've gone through health issues and aging, rather than cut back, you've modified the classes so that I could continue to do poses and routines I enjoy without stressing my joints. You always listen to what's happening with our health and stressors, and modify accordingly!

I'm sorry that COVID took away in person sessions, but guiltily enjoy being able to attend class virtually and see my dear yoga buddies from our new home across the country.
