Patricia Barnes MS, OT/L, RYT500
Patricia Barnes has over 30 years of experience in Occupational Therapy (OT) in physical disabilities, geriatrics, teaching and management, having earned a BS in OT in 1980 and a MS in 1997 from Towson University.
Her practice experience encompasses hospital, outpatient, nursing home, home health and emerging community settings as well as management of multidisciplinary programs.
She has been responsible for program planning, implementation and evaluation including a contract therapy and low vision program.
Diagnostic groups that she has worked with include arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, cancer, stroke, Parkinsons Disease and brain injury.
She is an independent OT practitioner, offering in-home evaluation and treatment.
Her special interest areas include healthy aging, and management of pain and chronic conditions.
